Welcome to the Putative Father Registry
The charge for a PFR search is $75.00 - The charge must be drawn from a pre-paid account established within the PFR system. Funds may be added to the pre-paid account by paper check, eCheck, ACH, Credit Card. All paper checks must be made payable to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and mailed to the PFR office for processing.
IF the Child is in DCFS Care, You must provide Caseworker ID Number, Child ID Number, Region.
Now Accepting Credit Cards
We are excited to announce that you can now pay for your PFR search using a credit card through our new online invoicing platform. Payments will be processed with an additional processing fee for checks and credit cards. Card-processing systems adhere to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
